The Bodymovin Widget allows you to use shape layer animations exported from Adobe After Effects in your compositions when building in Composer. These animations load faster and are higher in quality than .gif files.

Remember, any underlined widget properties can be connected to a Control Node or a Data Node.
Note
This widget works with Bodymovin Json files. To create a Bodymovin Json file in After Effects, download the AE plugin here: https://exchange.adobe.com/creativecloud.details.12557.bodymovin.html. To learn more about the AE plugin, go here: http://airbnb.io/lottie/#/after-effects .

As the developer of the plugin states,
"Convert any Adobe Illustrator, EPS, SVG, or PDF assets to shape layers in After Effects otherwise they will not work in your Lottie animation."
