The Image Widget allows you to insert images into your Composition, and is very simple to use. All you need is a url.

To learn how to add a Widget to your Composition, click here.

Remember, any underlined widget properties can be connected to a Control Node or a Data Node.

As seen above, select the "Image" tab in the Property Panel to update the widget's following properties:

Image - Paste in an image address URL that you grabbed from the web within the provided field OR select the box on the left of the field and choose an image from your Singular Dashboard.

Note that the Dashboard supports image files of 10mb or less.

Object-Fit - Contain, Cover and Fill options dictate how the image behaves within its Bounding Box

Shift - Image horizontal or vertical placement shifting within the Bounding Box. This only works with the Contain and Fill Object-Fit options.

Flip X - Horizontal image flip

Flip Y - Vertical image flip

All image file formats that will display in a web browser are supported in the image widget. These are the usual suspects like .jpg, .gif, .png (with or without transparency) and .svg.
