The Node Link Browser is a simple Composer UI feature that enables you to create and connect a Control Node directly from the Property Panel.

Creating a Control Node

To begin creating a Control Node, navigate to the Property Panel and click on an underlined property in the Property Panel

Note

Any underlined property can be connected to a Control Node or Data Node

2 - Select and Enter Information

Select Control Node, for example, and enter in your desired title. Next, click "Add" or press enter and see your Control Node appear in the Data Interface and Control Panel. Done!

Selecting an Existing Control Node

1 - Select a Property

To select a property to connect to an existing Control Node, navigate to the Property Panel and click on an underlined property in the Property Panel

2 - Choose an Existing Control Node

Choose from a list of your existing Control Nodes. If Node Containers exist, the Control Nodes will be organized accordingly.

Color coding for the Control Nodes is as follows:

  • Green - Recommended
  • Orange - Compatible

Note

In the above image, connecting a gradient fill to a Color Control Node works but the perfect pairing would be with a Gradient Control Node.
