Note that BGRA is a color format that includes alpha. You may get a warning after selecting these options but it can be disregarded for the purposes of generating your NDI feed. -
Navigate to Tools > NDI™ Output settings:
Then activate the Main Output checkbox and leave the default name or change it to something you'll remember:
3 - Record Feed (With Transparency) in Video Monitor
- Open NDI® Video Monitor and select the OBS NDI feed by heading to NDI in the top menu and navigating to your active OBS feed named earlier:

4 - Import .mov Recording into Adobe Editing Software
The .mov recording provided by Video Monitor can easily be dropped into your Adobe editing software to clip and edit as needed!
If you can't find your video file, double check or change your NDI Video Monitor recording path in Settings > Set Record Path:
Note
Make sure that you’re viewing the transparency grid in your editing software to see how the transparent aspects of your output have been retained.
