About Events

An Event, in Composer, is a feature that allows you to make widgets interactive to the viewer. This feature is accessible in the "Event" tab within the Property Panel.

In the example below, a "Mouse Down" event was added to the upper right bug overlay so that when a user clicks on the bug, a full screen overlay animates on screen (and off).

Additional Event Property Setting - Mouse Pointer

Events have a Mouse Pointer property setting in the "Miscellaneous" box of the Event tab. This allows artists to decide which type of Mouse Pointer will appear when the viewer interacts with an interactive overlay in the output.

Check out the clip below, showing different mouse pointer design options.
