Update Animation

An Update Animation is an animation that gets triggered automatically when new data is pushed to an overlay (via a control node or data node).

For example, when new text is pushed via the Studio Control Application, if an Update Animation is enabled the text will trigger with the animation set in the Update Animation automatically. The same holds true for the Image Widget, for example.

Note

The Update Animation is one of three methods to animate within Composer. The other two are Timeline Animations and Behavior Animations.

    What does the "always execute" box do?

    daniel.seehof sorry for the late reply - "always execute" means that the update animation you set will execute every time any update is made to your graphic.
